Vinyl Wrap Warranty Policy
Sinner Creation’s vehicle wrap warranty statement applies to products installed by SC.
We offer an in-house warranty on all vehicle wrap and vehicle graphic products installed for 1 year and 6 months. Our warranty covers all defects in materials (manufacture warranty applies on materials) and installation. This includes partial repairs and full replacement of failed materials, removal, and installation.
Most factory paint is sprayed with an imperfection somewhere, like clear coat runs, debris, paint chips, rock chips even weak paint. Vinyl wrap is made specifically to not harm paint so no paint should be pulled upon removal of the wrap. Vinyl wrap can highlight these imperfections and make it look like debris is under the wrap. These things sometimes are hard to see unless you have shop lights and check your vehicle inch by inch. Sometimes we notice these and take documentation, but there is times where an installer won’t see a paint issue until the panel is installed. We cover debris under warranty but with the account of paint imperfections the spot when replaced may not change. We do install in a climate controlled environment. We also clean the area before, during and after!
Failure can be noticed as little as within a week and can be noticed as follows: bubbles, adhesive failure, debris, dirt, shrinking, fingering, lifted edges, lifted corners, seams shrinking, recesses “popping” and vibration creases.
There will be evidence on certain panels that this is not paint. This can include seams and overlaps. Some vehicles have complex curves which from Brand to Brand, each can conform differently. Calendar film, textured film, Chrome, and anything White will be seamed and these specifically you will see the seams clearly. Darker films hide seams better. We make straight seams in areas where the vinyl would not conform to provide a long lasting overall appearance. We do not attempt to over stretch material that we know will not last being stretched. This product is a giant sticker, and we use different brands that offer great options.
Material Shortage from brand to brand is making it hard to get certain colors. As material is in stock we will provide our warranty work. If the wrap material continues to be out of stock we would have to wait, the customer will continue to have a warranty as long as the wrap is maintained properly and cared for.
Our shop is very knowledgeable on the vinyl wrap industry and provides professional quality services. Each material will have Pros and Cons. Vinyl wrap brands that have cons normally will include but not limited to adhesive failure. This can happen and is at no fault of the shop installers as each product is installed correctly and properly to maintain hold onto the surface for longevity.
We use two different types of material. Calendar, and Cast. Cast material lasts longer and will conform better with less chances of an adhesive failure or peel back. Calendar material doesn’t last as long and conforms less. Calendar material does have much more vibrant colors and more selections.
Depending on brand and color, each vinyl will have a recommendation for removal timeframe. This is not included with the service. For most Common removal recommendations are 3-4 years.
Each vinyl brand is just as fragile as the next. You must take care of your investment if you want it to last as long as its predicted lifespan.
This warranty does not cover damage to the wrap or graphics from negligence, misuse, accidents, road damage, wear and tear, or any failure that is not a product of installation or materials. This warranty does not cover any of the following failures: if the client chooses to keep any/all emblems on, wheel or caliper wraps (due to heat changing variables) or wrap imperfections (due to paint defects). Paint defects include clear coat peeling, contamination when the paint was sprayed, chips, door dings, dents, wear and tear.
All claims must be made within the 1 year and 6 month warranty time frame and are subject to approval by a SC’s professional installer. In case of a warrantable failure, Sinner Creations responsibility is limited solely to, at its option, repairing or replacing the defective wrap or parts of the wrap.
Customer’s option for repair of warrantable failures is strictly limited to repair at Sinner Creations approved facility. Materials used in warranty repairs will carry the same warranty coverage as the materials they replace, but the expiration dates will be the same as those of the original materials.
All services must be paid in full upon vehicle delivery and under no circumstances will a refund of material and/or services rendered be authorized. All sales are considered final. This warranty is the sole warranty made by SC in regards to our vehicle wrap products.
Sinner Creations makes no other warranties, expressed, written or implied.
